The ABC.com episode player has delivered more than a half-billion episodes and a billion ads while ABC and Disney (NYSE: DIS) have sold "tens of millions" of episodes through iTunes, Anne Sweeney, co-chair, Disney Media Networks, and president, Disney-ABC Television Group, said during an Industry Insider session at CES this afternoon.
Big Four ad agency Publicis is now buying in to Latin American digital advertising, acquiring Sao Paulo-based Tribal to add to its Digitas online ad group. Digitas CEO Laura Lang said Tribal is "fundamental" to expanding in the growing region. Publicis bought Digitas back in 2006 and has grafted on various international digital acquisitions in the UK, India, Singapore, China and its native France, so this will be a foothold across the Atlantic.

Yahoo (NSDQ: YHOO) is reorganizing the Connected Life division with the intention of actually making money. The reorganization, announced internally today at an all-hands meeting, includes a management shuffle and the new goal of contributing to Yahoo's bottom line by 2009, according to an email we obtained. The email was sent out today to employees by Marco Boerries, Yahoo's EVP of the Connected Life Division, who also made the announcement at a meeting this morning.
Former Digitas exec Neal Prescott has been named CEO of WPP Digital's new production services unit, Deliver. The new unit will tie together production services in Asia, Eastern Europe, Latin America and South Africa and work with all of WPP's digital properties, including Actis Systems (Russia), AGENDA (China), Wunderman's ZAAZ (Seattle), as well as The Ogilvy Group and WPP Digital agencies BLUE (China/Singapore), Quasar (India) and Schematic (Los Angeles/Costa Rica). The creation of this unit is expected to save costs associated with using outside production companies.
