After 4 years of growing and energetic conferences in Denmark, the next stop for the J. Boye Conferences is in Philadelphia from May 5 - 7. There are already about 20 confirmed speakers from around the world, including the CMS Watch team, but to make it a practitioner event, I am still searcing for a few more case studies for the track on web content management.
Amazing but newspapers in Denmark are still objecting to “deep linking” and want all links - even from emails - to come directly to the home page so they can then control the experience. It would be a metaphor for the dying industry attitude, except it’s real. [via Martin Stabe]

The latest NBA expansion covers two growth areas for the league: international and broadband. NBA League Pass Broadband International is now available in 19 countries. The subscription includes access to 40-plus live games a week with play-by-play in English and VOD for 24 hours after they air. Some live games will be blacked out. Pay options include full season ($85 through Nov. 11; $100 after), monthly and daily. The international version follows
Search/e-commerce firm Accoona, which withdrew its IPO late last year, has now been bought by B2B search engine Masterseek, which was founded in Denmark in 1999. Although the site once generated buzz as a search startup, most of its revenue came from e-commerce, a business running deeply in the red.
