A team wearing Titans uniforms lost today. They got trounced 23-0 by a team wearing Indianapolis Colts uniforms. Both teams benched their starting quarterbacks after one series. Both teams “deactivated” 8 starters. The Titans have six Pro-Bowlers and most of them did not play, or saw very limited action.
—Oprah Winfrey Network: Liz Dolan has signed on as CMO for OWN, effective January 2009. Most recently, she headed up marketing at NIKE and in 2001, created talk radio show "Satellite Sisters" with her four sisters. In her new capacity, Dolan will be responsible for all on-air, print, radio and online marketing.

The combo of expansion and tough economy is catching up with Casey Wasserman, whose Wasserman Media Group slashed its Sportnet division by 41 percent. Twenty-eight of the group's 68 employees were laid off late Friday, including Gabe Huerta, VP-product development, and a number of others from product development and support.
-- Glam launches app network: The notion of apps as ad revenue generators is still in the exploratory stage for most publishers. But female-focused ad net Glam Media thinks it can change that, by launching the Glam App Network.
